Global warming affects all life on earth. If the average temperatures raise just a few degrees, many of the plants and animals we are now familiar with could have a tough time just surviving. Global Warming is a term used when referring to the change in temperature as it relates to the fault of mankind.
Global warming is a popular subject among college students and young people. I think the reason is because they are more idealistic. Republicans for the most part shun the thought of global warming because they feel that the government should not be involved in making policies that could inhibit the growth of American corporations. Democrats on the other had seemed to be more open to the idea. Global warming is the idea that our climate is getting warmer over time and most people that talk about global warming feel that it is mankind’s fault. They believe that green house gases emitted by corporations, cars and other things are causing Global warming. Al Gore made a movie about global warming called an inconvenient truth. He made a widespread emotional appeal in his movie that seemed to pretty well receive. I did very much enjoy the global warming documentary, but I was disappointed in that I felt the movie fell short of proving the correlation between carbon and the rising temperature.
